ASI staff and volunteers provide support to consumers 60 and better and caregivers, promoting self-sufficiency and building community capacity in our area.

ASI's work is critical for our community.
  • We are improving health by providing essential nutrition and other  supportive services to those who may otherwise be unable to afford or accomplish the basic tasks surrounding good nutrition and behaviors that improve independence.
  • Many of those we serve have limited social interactions and no access to educational programs, such as Matter of Balance, that help them to   remain safe and active.
  • We also provide support to families and caretakers.

Such supportive care (nutrition, social, outreach) makes it possible for these individuals to remain in the community without institutionalization.
