On Tuesday, May 6th, 2025, the Board of County Commissioners proclaimed May 2025 as Older Americans Month in Archuleta County. Celebrating the theme "Flip the Script on Aging", the declaration aims to shine light on transforming how society perceives, talks about, and approaches aging.
Archuleta County Seniors Inc., and the Colorado Commission on Aging, in alignment with the 2025 Older Americans Month theme, are dedicated to empowering aging and encouraging older adults to prepare and plan for the future, while actively participating in the present.
