ASI has adopted a strong Results Based Accountability (RBA) framework, which we consider essential to being able to effectively manage all of our programs. In building our evidence base, we research and adopt best practices in our sector activities, such as meal programs. ASI worked with the State Unit on Aging (SUA) to set measurable client-based goals and use population level indicators and strategies to gain insight into our progress and growth.​

Ongoing program goals include: 

1. Meeting our mission of empowering and serving our community through service to our consumers, through a 60 or better, wellness approach.
2. Supporting a vibrant community, in keeping with community-defined goals and objectives.
3. Engaging community volunteers, connecting them to meaningful service in their community.
4. Creating more economically and functionally resilient infrastructure.

In part, we measure: Who we serve and how we serve; How that benefits our community; Local social services agency interactions and alignment with community planning goals; Number of and outcomes of cooperative and/or collaborative actions with regional agencies, schools, arts organizations, businesses; Reduced hunger and increased independence among adults 60+; and  Increased positive inter-generational engagement.
